Headline findings
- Only 38% of UK attractions publish a Changing Places location on their website.
- 62% publish step-free route guidance, but only 19% include sensory information.
- Average reading age of accessibility pages: 15.4 — above the UK plain-English benchmark of 12.
Methodology
We sampled 200 UK attractions ranked by 2025 visitor numbers and audited their public accessibility pages between January and March 2026.
